Waving Goodbye To 2023 – A Year of Growth and Creativity

As we stitch our way into the new year, let's raise our hooks in a nostalgic toast to 2023, a year woven with shared passion and countless creations. Let's take a moment to appreciate the vibrant tapestry of events and milestones that made last year one to remember.

Here's a Quick Rewind of 2023 in Review:

Temperature/Sampler Crochet Along Blanket Project

Our hooks and hearts were warm as we worked together on the Temperature/Sampler Crochet Along Blanket Project. This colorful journey had us crafting a unique story with each row, capturing the essence of the year's climate in yarn.

Crochet HACK!

Using your tail as a stitch marker is a game-changer! It's easy, effective, and keeps your rounds looking sharp. When working up a circle or a project using a round, begin with a long tail that will be longer than the finished project itself. After every round, pull the tail through the last loop before slip stitching to close the round.

The tail will double as a stitch marker so you will know where every round ends and begins.  Plus, when you are ready to tie off your work, you can just cut your working yarn with a tail long enough to tie a knot with the marker tail and then weave in your ends.  Extra secure and no need for any extra stitch markers.

Behind The Scenes: Prepping for February and Beyond!

We have some exciting new projects planned for 2024 focusing on wearables, crochet for your home, and more blanket patterns! We're also delving into Irish Crochet to bring you something truly special.

Member Feedback: We Want to Hear from You! Which project category excites you the most for 2024? Let us know – your input is invaluable as we plan our crochet journey together.

As we gear up for an exciting year ahead, I want to thank each of you for being a vital part of our crochet community. Your creativity and passion fuel our journey together. I can't wait to see what we'll create in 2024, from wearables to home decor and beyond. Your feedback is essential, so please share which project category excites you the most for the upcoming year. Here's to a year filled with creativity, learning, and our shared love for crochet. Happy stitching!

With warmth and hooks raised high,
