Week 4 of the 2024 Sampler Blanket Crochet Along: The Arrow Stitch!

CWT Week 4 of 2024 Sampler Blanket CAL

Hey, crochet stitchers!

It's time for the fourth installment of our 2024 Sampler Blanket CAL. This week, we’re working with the Arrow Stitch, a captivating pattern that creates rows of V's across the fabric, resembling a series of intricate arrows. This distinctive design adds a dynamic and visually striking texture to our 2024 Sampler Blanket, making it a versatile stitch you’ll love for any project.

YARN SELECTION

For this project, we’re sticking with our go-to, Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Merino. This yarn is perfect for its lovely sheen, soft feel, and the added bonus of being machine washable—ideal for a project that's going to get a lot of love.

Color Choice: For Square Four, we're using color #62/Violet Ice. This rich, mid-level purple hue will beautifully showcase the arrows that are created with this interesting stitch pattern.

Enhance the Arrow Stitch with a very plain and simple border of Single or Double Crochet. Or, consider a Crab Stitch border, a Picot border, or, Pom-Poms or Fringe to elevate your project’s look.
